The Wauneta-Palisade fifth and sixth graders held a science fair Tuesday, April 4. Teacher RanDee Barger said the students worked hard to prepare their projects.
The Wauneta-Palisade Elementary School recently announced the April Students of the Month.
Twenty Wauneta-Palisade FFA members took part in last week’s Nebraska FFA State Convention and at least 12 of them brought home ribbons.
Students in Jane Lenners’ classes at Wauneta-Palisade Schools received special stickers from NASA from former student and graduate of Chase County Schools, Sandra Jones, who is completing an internship with the space program. Sandra Jones is not only an intern at the NASA Space Program in Houston, Texas, but she is also speaking out as an advocate for all educators.
