The livestock judging team included (front row, from left)  junior high students Colby Hoskovec and Chloe Stehno and high school students Haley Walker, (back row, form left) Evan Nordhausen, Reagan Skow, Cord Lee and Kenna Blackman. Overall the team got eighth place out of 15 teams. Reagan Skow took home second place in senior judging.

The natural resources team included, from left, Ben Anderjaska, Tommy Bley, Tucker Boos, Austen Rozelle received a ribbon, Kenna Blackman and Caid Doetker. The team placed 35th out of 101 teams.

Braxton McKinney competed in agri-science.

WP FFA competes at districts

Wauneta-Palisade Schools’ FFA Chapter competed at districts in Curtis Wednesday, Nov. 8. Both high school and junior high  students participated.

Approximately 300 people were fed at this year’s Wauneta-Palisade Thanksgiving Feast at the Palisade Attendance Center. The Palisade gym was filled with the wonderful aromas of good food, sounds of laughter and thankful stomachs. Elementary Thanksgiving Feast enjoyed by all
