The high school band, performed several pieces they performed at both District Music Competition and RPAC music including “The Great Steamboat Race” where the percussionists used gallon milk jugs, halfway filled with water to mimic a boat sailing through water.
Wauneta-Palisade holds spring concert
In a night filled with entertainment, the 5-12 choir/band concert could be categorized as a success. The night brought in many community members from both Palisade and Wauneta. The fifth and sixth grade choir, had a patriotic theme throughout their performance. In a touching tribute, students held up pictures of family members who are or have served in the military while singing “We Remember.”
