School board has full agenda

With the school year coming to an end, there were many items on the agenda at the Monday night school board meeting.
    The board approved a quoted price of $14,020 from Yant Equipment Inc. for a 1,000 gallon above ground diesel tank. The current diesel tank is located underground and has failed to pass mandatory annual tests.
    In hopes of cutting costs in parts, annual tests, monitors and extra services the current tank needs, board member Bill Bischoff made a motion to abandon the underground tank and put it under temporary usage until an above ground tank can be installed.
    In other business, the board approved the motion to switch from Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) testing to Measures of Academic Progress (MAP).
