Rev. LaVern Brack - March 21, 2011

Rev. LaVern Lloyd Brack was born in Albert, Kan., on Dec. 25, 1926, and passed away March 21, 2011, at Hospice Care in Las Vegas, Nev., at the age of 84.
He received a call in 1980 to serve St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, rural Wauneta, and served there until his retirement in June, 1992.
Survivors include his wife, Betté of Las Vegas; son, John of Florida: daughter, Joanna Araujo of North Platte, Neb.; older brother, Rev. Orlett and wife Victoria; younger sister, Velda Hess; younger brother Billy and wife Gladys; Betté’s younger brother, Jerry Steere and wife Cristina; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and blessings of three godchildren: Virgil Brack Jr., Sharon Rizo and Judy Ray; many nephew, nieces and step grandchildren.
