Our high school is closing its 2nd week with 5 teachers and over 120 scholars enrolled.

The Blue Ridge School opened Sept. 14 with 14 pupils. The school house has been improved with walls painted, the floor oiled, desks varnished, a new library table, necessary books and curtains purchased. The new water pail has solved the problem of how to get water to the school house and a closed water jar keeps it in good condition. Individual drinking cups are also used.

No school Friday; all going to the fair.
