|4-H summer deadlines approach|

Summer is here and that means 4-H is in the air. A few important deadlines that 4-H members will want to remember are just around the corner.
—There is still time to join 4-H. If you have not joined 4-H yet you have until May 30 to do so. Just contact your local UNL Extension Office.
—May 30 is the deadline for all 4-H livestock identification sheets to be turned into your local UNL Extension Office. This includes the following projects: Breeding Beef, Feeder Calf, Bucket Calf, Cow/Calf Pairs, Market Sheep, Breeding Sheep, Goats and Swine.
—May 30 is also the deadline for anyone to sign up for 4-H or make any changes to 4-H projects that current 4-H’ers have signed up for.
—June 15 is the deadline for youth in the Beef, Sheep, Goat and Swine Projects to complete their Livestock Quality Assurance.
