Three seniors are returning to the track in 2014 to lead the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos.
Tailor Lee, Abbie Fanning and Wes Anderjaska will lead 11 other team members.
Coach Dawn Doetker says she expects some successful things from her team.
Doetker expects her girls’ team to be strong in throwing and sprints.
Fanning had a strong season last year in the 100, 200 and 400.
Junior Sydnee Harchelroad qualified for State in the 800.
Junior Hannah Nordhausen qualified for State in the discus as a freshman.
Doetker said the boys’ team will be strong in jumps, throws and middle distances, with Anderjaska leading the way.
Injured letterwinner Hayden Pollmann will serve as one of two managers, along with injured freshman CeAnna Jahn.
Unforturnately, the lack of participants means the team will struggle in the team standings, but Doetker said she has full confidence the girls and boys who came out and are giving the coaches 110 percent effort each week.
