Throughout the past few weeks Wauneta Breeze staff have been guiding readers through 125 years of Wauneta history.
This week, the fourth section of the special section has been released. The fourth section focuses on the progression of Wauneta businesses through current day.
The section also details progression of several major civil projects such as flood control, the major street and park projects done in Wauneta in the past few decades.
It also takes a historical look at the progression of the Enders Dam project.
The fourth section also takes a look at some of the trageties the community has faced and overcome throughout the years.
The final section of the 125th anniversary edition will be out very soon. The final section will include a history of your community newspaper as well as historical photos which did not appear in the other four sections.
Once complete, the entire, five-section 125th anniversary edition of the Breeze will be available for sale for $10, tax included. If the copies are to be mailed there will be an additional shipping charge.
Many readers have already reserved extra copies of the completed edition as keepsakes for years to come.
