Multiple girls placed in multiple events.
Tailor Lee was sixth in the shotput, 1 1/2 inches out of fifth place, and fifth in the discus, two inches out of fourth place.
Emma Skelton placed in both hurdle events, third in the 100 meter hurdles and second in the 300 meter hurdles. Her time in the 300 meter hurdles was a personal best.
Abbie Fanning was fourth in the 400 meter run, third in the 200 meter dash and fourth in the 800 meter run. Fanning’s 200 meter dash time was a personal record.

Weylin Davis was seventh in the high jump, clearing 5’6”.
The 4x800 meter relay team was fourth. Team members were Hayden Pollmann, Anderjaska, Bischoff and Maris.
With districts coming up on May 8, the meet was a chance for W-P to scoop out district competition. Hayes Center, Hitchcock County, Maywood, Medicine Valley, Paxton and Wallace are all in W-P’s D-10 district, along with Brady, Maxwell and host Sutherland.
The team will be at Benkelman Friday for the Dundy County-Stratton Twilight.
