The Wauneta Chamber has an afternoon of winter family fun planned for this Saturday, Dec. 15.

The Chamber events will start off with a free matinee showing of “Rise of the Guardians” in 3-D at the Chateau Theatre. The free matinee is sponsored by the Women of Today.

After the movie members of the Wauneta Volunteer Fire Department will give Santa a lift into town where he will pass out goodies in front of the theatre.

Also after the matinee, the Chamber will have their annual Christmas drawings outside the theatre.

There are 35 items in this year’s drawing including grand prizes of a 32-inch LG television and Apple iPad from BWTelcom.

Other prizes include Chamber Bucks, gift certificates and much, much more. See the ad in this week’s edition for a full list of prizes offered at this year’s Chamber drawings.

The drawings are open to individuals 18-years and older. People can sign up for the drawings at Chamber businesses around town.

Individuals must be present to win the Chamber drawings on Santa Saturday.
