By Diane Stamm The Wauneta Breeze After watching kids in the weight room this summer new co-head coaches Joseph Frecks and Randy Geier finally got a look at their incoming football team on the field Monday. With so many summer activities ongoing, the coaches opted for a one day camp to work on drills with their players. The team met from 7:00 to 11:00 in the morning. Geier said that the one day worked well. Fourteen players attended the camp in Wauneta. Geier said they hope for 16-18 players as the team moves to six man this year. Practice kicks off Aug. 6. The team’s first game is at home against Cody-Kilgore Aug. 24. |
