Laddie and Anita Wilson of Olathe, Kan., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shana Daree, to Joseph Nicholas Hlas of Houston, Texas. He is the son of Harry and Gloria Hlas of Clutier, Iowa.

The bride-elect is employed as Human Resources Manager with Sutherland Lumber Company in Kansas City, Mo. The prospective groom is employed with JX Nippon Chemical Texas, Inc. in Pasadena, Texas.

Shana is the granddaughter of Burdette and Jackie Wilson and the late Everett and Louise Stamm all of Benkelman, Neb.
