|Husker Ag SMARTS Program to offer Business Management Skills starting January 24|

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Husker Ag SMARTS program is a comprehensive business management experience designed by UNL Extension Specialist, Educators and business professionals.
Your participation will help you increase your business knowledge, skills, and set of tools making it possible for you to better meet your financial and family goals of becoming more profitable.
The program will help you plan for future viability and the transition needs of your agricultural business. This course will give you a hands on opportunity to make management changes through the use of a case farm scenario and with your own operation. If you are looking to improve your long term viability this course is what you have been looking for.
Past participants have taken what they have learned to develop an employee handbook, estate plan and other management strategies that have helped them improve their management skills.
The Husker Ag SMARTS program will be offered at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis starting on Jan. 24.
The programs run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The program will be offered on Jan. 24, 25 and Feb. 14, 15, 28 and 29. The cost for the entire program is $600 which includes meals, educational materials and a jump drive.
