Do you want to sharpen your skills as a 4-H judge? You can make a difference in a child’s life by helping them critic the skills they have developed through 4-H.
Mark your calendar for June 30, from 9:30-11:30 MT at the UNL Extension-Chase County office meeting room at 135 W 5th Street in Imperial, for the 2011 4-H Judges Training.
Training topics include: Youth Development and Judging, Computers, Robotics, Decorate Your Duds and Photography.
Participating in judges training is a way to get your name on the state-wide judges list. The registration fee is $5.00. The fee includes training, materials and refreshments. Experienced judges are encouraged to attend and renew their skills and invite a potential judge to come, too. Both can attend for $7.50.
The registration deadline is June 29. For more information or to sign up, contact the UNL Extension in Chase County at 308-882-4731 or 200-291-5309.
