Salvation is a free gift . . . discipleship costs everything . . . there are many cults, (some-very bizarre) feigning religion! But the essence of religion—how to get peace with God—can be only one of two ways—the works of man or the grace of God.
“Now to him that worketh, is the reward; not reckoned of grace, but of debt, but to him that worketh not, but believeth on him, that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness (Rom. 4:4-5).
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die (Rom. 5:7A) but God, commendeth his love toward us; in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom. 5:8).
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Rom. 10:9).
