Send a special something to a special someone on May Day.

That’s the message of the Chase County Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge (FFV). The organization is selling May Baskets, with proceeds going towards the cost of sending Chase County high school students on a trip next spring.

The baskets cost $5 and $10, and contain baked goods and candy. They may be reserved by calling Claudette Swanson at (308) 882-3964 or Lynn Luhrs at (308) 882-3907 before April 29.

The baskets may be picked up at the Imperial United Methodist Church on May 1 starting at 7 p.m.

The FFVF trip visits Valley Forge, Penn. and Washington D.C., teaching students about American history and patriotism.
