This year, 360 students were selected to participate in the All-State Children’s Chorus, which is sponsored by the Nebraska Music Education Association.
    Ms. Judy Welch, Children’s Chorus Coordinator for the Nebraska Music Education Association, is pleased to announce that Maggie DeWester and McKenna Doetker will be among the 360 students selected to be a part of the 2017 All-State Children’s Chorus.
    Wauneta-Palisade music teacher Sara Behrends said she was able to select two students from WP. The pair had to audition to be selected.
    Guest conductor for the group will be Rollo A. Dilworth, Professor of Choral Music Education and Chair of the Department of Music Education and Therapy at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance in Philadelphia, PA.
