Six Wauneta-Palisade students have been named to the Nebraska School Activities Association and Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State list.
    This was juniors Lanee Nordhausen’s and Natalie Ramirez’s fourth time named to the list.
    Senior Greg Gaston has received the award three times and sophomore Lake Reikofski has also been recognized three times.
    Freshmen Ben Anderjaska and George Lee were also named to the list. Lee also received recognition on the fall list.
    Three times each school year, the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.
    Anderjaksa and Gaston were nominated for boys’ basketball, Nordhausen and Ramirez for girls’ basketball and Reikofski and Lee for speech.
