WCTC Happenings

In my article this time for happenings from Wauneta Care and Therapy Center I have been seeing a new person who does what he can to help set up the dining room to make the serving of meals go quickly as he works very diligently as for tonight dinner hour. He was here early and he saw the tables were all sitting clean as the workers from the previous meal left the tables clean. So as I watched the young man get busy putting clean tablecloths on them, then he put ice in the glasses and fresh water in them. He then put the filled glasses on the tables at the place settings for each resident who would soon be coming to eat at their assigned place at the table.
The young man stayed to serve the plates of food from the serving window of the kitchen. One choice tonight for a resident meal was cheesy broccoli and egg salad sandwich. The young man was serving coffee or hot chocolate and glasses of juice to go with the meal.
My choice of juice is white cranberry.
I talked with the young man who always looks neat in his black clothes. I talked with him after supper and his name is Sir Maree Wallace. He came from Texas and lives here in Wauneta. Having this job at the nursing home has been a good experience for him.
