Any happenings at Wauneta Care and Therapy Center? A few activities I have attended are when Kris lets us know when there will be “cooking” in the dining room after lunch. My first thought was I didn’t ever think cooking could be fun in my own home.
    I did a lot of it when I was still living with my father. I always wished I could make myself like it better. So the cooking Kris invited a few of us to spend with her as she cooked for us.
    This week it was to bake chocolate chip cookies. Kris had a roll of chocolate chip dough from the store. She rolled little pieces of the dough in her white gloved hands. She arranged the balls in a microwave cookie sheet then put that tray in the portable microwave from the activities office and I don’t know what time it took them to bake but they came out nicely browned ready for her guests to eat.
