Two more Chase County filings received; about a month left for incumbents to file for May 15 election

Two more incumbent filings for elected office were received the past week by the Chase County Clerk’s office.
County Sheriff Kevin E. Mueller filed Monday for re-election on the Republican ticket.
Also filing for re-election to the Chase County Schools board of education was Steven D. Wallin of Imperial. He’s completing his first term on the board.
For most elected offices, Feb. 15 is the deadline for incumbents to file for office. New office-seekers to that position have until March 1
Nebraska’s Primary is set for May 15, while the General Election is scheduled for Nov. 6.
