    Doris Ough, Ethel Louch, Ila Widger and Verna Sandman spent Sunday visiting with Edna Christensen.
    Elsie Petsch was a Monday afternoon guest of Leola Alberts.
    The Wauneta-Palisade Lady Broncos suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Eustis-Farnam Knights, 27-26 in the  subdistrict finals.
    Ken and Cleo Denker had dinner at the Senior Center on Wednesday celebrating their anniversary and on Friday night had supper at the Coppermill in McCook.
    Dennis and Donna Gockley attended a youth basketball tournament in Cambridge on Saturday. Their grandson, Kale Gockley was a member of the Imperial team.

    Bob and Ruth Hohl and Ken Hohl visited Karmon and Rick Johnson and family Sunday afternoon.
    Ruby and Don Ham attended a Ham family birthday dinner Sunday in the home of Paul and Kathleen Ham at Benkelman.
    Bill and Deb Sandman of Kearney called in the Dennis Gockley home sunday afternoon.
    Rich Romine and daughter Liz were weekend visitors of Audra Romine.
    Henry and Leta Brunkhorst and Herman Nordhausen spent Friday with Hilda Nordhausen.
    Dawn Applegarth was crowned queen in the 11-13 old youth division of the Stars & Hearts Beauty Pageant at the McCook Elks Club on Saturday.
