    A total of $359 was raised at the event that served approximately 100 people. All of the funds will be going to Wauneta-Palisade Schools Foundation funds.
    The Wauneta-Palisade Schools Foundation is relatively new to the community. Superintendent Randy Geier explained that over the last couple of years many patrons and businesses have been interested in donating to the school. In order for the school to legally accept monetary donations, a foundation had to be set up.
