Ticket sales for the annual Wauneta-Palisade High School Alumni Banquet are off and running, but the deadline to buy tickets is quickly approaching.
    Alumni banquet tickets are available for sale at Walgren’s Super Market for the cost of $20 per ticket. Tickets will cover both the alumni banquet and the social event. The last day to purchase tickets is May 15.

Many activities planned
    Alums will have no shortage of things to do when in town on Saturday, May 27.
    Alumni events will kick off that morning with a new event. The first annual Wauneta-Palisade Alumni Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, May 27 at Enders Lake Golf Course starting at 9 a.m. MT/10 a.m. CT. The tournament is open to four-person teams. Within the teams two individuals should be Wauneta or Wauneta-Palisade alumni. The tournament entrance fee will be $120 per team.
    As of Tuesday, eight teams have registered for the four-person scramble.
    Teams are still being accepted, though late registrants may not receive a welcome gift as they have already been ordered. There is still room for additional pin prize donations. Anyone who would like to register for the tournament or donate pin prizes should call Julie Sparrow at 308-882-6261.
