The Wauneta-Palisade track teams experienced ups and downs last week during meets in Sutherland and Benkelman.
Cash Yearous leads the field in the 1,600-meter run. Yearous led for many laps in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs but finished second in both.

Despite less than perfect weather conditions, the Wauneta-Palisade track teams set 24 personal bests at the April 18 Hitchcock County Invite. Both teams finished second.
