Willis Christner was the lone Wauneta-Palisade wrestler to take to the mat at Saturday’s Southwest Invitational.
    Sean McKay and Colton Barrett sat out the meet to rest up for this week’s district meet.
    Christner lost both his 160-pound matches in the double elimination bracket.
    The District D-4 meet will be Friday and Saturday in Sutherland. Other teams taking part are Banner County, Bayard, Brady, Crawford, Dundy County Stratton, Garden County, Hay Springs, Hemingford, Hitchcock County, Hyannis, Maxwell, McPherson County, Medicine Valley, Minatare, Morrill, Mullen, North Platte St. Patrick’s, Perkins County, Sioux County,  and Sutherland.
