    With a total of nine participants this year the Wauneta-Palisade Schools cheerleading squad is the biggest it has been in years. During a two-day technique camp led by McCook High School Cheer Coach Teresa Erickson, the WP cheer squad had the opportunity to learn new lifts, cheers and dances.
    Missy Blackman, WP cheer coach, says that she enjoyed seeing the girls learn new skills and bond in the hot, humid Palisade gym.
