The No. 4 seeded team came through the loser’s bracket and twice defeated a team without a tournament loss to end this year’s coed softball league season.
    Division III defeated Sons of Pitches twice July 30, earning the top $200 cash prize for winning the title. That’s after they came through the loser’s bracket after dropping their first round game to No. 5 seed BYOB.
     After fighting their way back in the loser’s bracket, Division III came up against BYOB again, but this time beat BYOB in the semi-finals earlier on the 30th.  
    That sent them into the finals against No. 2 seed Sons of Pitches, where they won the first game 13-2 and then clinched a 15-13 game for the title.
