Simpson signs with MCC
Tuesday morning Wauneta-Palisade senior Faith Simpson signed her letter of intent to play volleybal at McCook Community College. Joining Simpson were MCC Head Coach Hayley Kobza (left), WP Head Coach Terra Higgins (right) and Simpson’s parents, Tammi and James Simpson (standing).
Kobza said, “Ever since I saw Faith the first time, I knew wherever she would go for college she would be an impact player. She is a tremendous athlete in every sport she plays and she is a power player.”
“I am excited to watch Faith perform at the next level. I think she is going to love playing a faster paced game of volleyball and I really think she will excel as a hitter,” Higgins said. “Coach Kobza at MCC has been doing a nice job building the volleyball program back up at MCC. I think it will be a great fit for Faith.”
