For the second week in a row, Wauneta-Palisade senior Faith Simpson has been named to the Class D2 basketball first team, this week by the Omaha World Herald.
    Team members are identical to those selected to the Lincoln Journal Star first team.
    Senior Destiny Beacham and junior Monique Gooden were placed on the honorable mention list.
    Senior Cash Yearous and junior Duncan Rector were named to the boys’ honorable mention.
