Wauneta-Palisade senior Brody Nordhausen has been named to the West roster for 2017 Sertoma Eight-Man All-Star Football game.
    Nordhausen is a four-year letter winner for WP.
    Playing six-man for three years, Nordhausen was named first-team All-State center as a junior to go with All-South Division first-team honors at center the prior year.
    This year as a fullback, the senior helped lead WP to a 5-4 record this year and finished second on the team in rushing.
    The game will be played on Saturday, June 17 and will be played at Hastings College.  
    Other area players taking part include Noah Kerchal from Dundy County-Stratton and Derek Sis from Perkins County.
    Perkins County Coach Carlie Wells will serve as head coach for the West squad.
    WP Coaches Randy Geier and Joseph Frecks will take part in the Eight-Man Football Clinic at Holdrege March 17 and 18.
