Wauneta-Palisade senior Greg Gaston signed his national letter of intent to the Doane Track and Field team Tuesday afternoon. Gaston continues the tradition of Wauneta-Palisade and southwest Nebraska athletes signing for Doane and Track and Field Coach Ed Fye. Gaston will also be following in the footsteps of brother Kyle, front left, who was an All-American at Doane. Like his brother, Gaston plans on competing in the heptathlon or decathlon.
Wauneta-Palisade was Fye and Jenny’s third stop on the day after the signings of Cambridge’s Alea Shaner and Dundy County-Stratton’s Madison Lambley.
