Wauneta-Palisade grads Greg Gaston scored six points and Brody Nordhausen five points to help the Gold side win at Friday’s Mid-Plains Area All-Star Game in North Platte.
    The Gold team won 56-51. The game was close through the first three quarters, before the Gold squad pulled away for the win.
    Black’s Emmitt Rosentrater of Paxton led all scorers with 12 points.
    The girls’ game was even closer.
    Although the Black team led 24-12 at one point the Gold squad battled back to take a 61-58 win in overtime.
