The Wauneta-Palisade Schools’ board approved the installation of a new track during the August board meeting. Since approval, wheels have been turning at a fast rate to finish the project before the cold weather sets in. The school concrete work is a total of $25,000 fixes the concrete along the bleachers, fills in the current track and converts the track into the metric system. Once the cement work is complete there will be a half-inch rubber track installed with a polyurethane sealant. Baxter Concrete has been working on the project the last couple of weeks.

WP FFA receives $2,000 grant for parasite identification project from FCS

Wauneta-Palisade FFA received a $2,000 grant for a Parasite Identification Project. The grant is provided through Farm Credit Services of America’s (FCSAmerica) Working Here Fund.
