Music teacher Sara Behrends puts Wauneta-Palisade fifth-graders through their paces on the ukuleles during the elementary school’s Fall Concert Nov. 5. Pre-K and kindergarten students did three songs with their teacher Kristy Vapenik, kindergarten and first grade did a small play about a baby beluga whale and grades two through four did a Disney musical.
The Wauneta-Palisade Schools Board Monday delayed action on a purchase of new buses, opting instead to check into having a current vehicle refurbished.
The third annual Wauneta-Palisade Schools PTO Parade of Lights will be Nov. 26.
Check-in will be at 6:45 MT/7:45 CT, with the parade starting 15 minutes later.
Wauneta-Palisade students participated in Fire Prevention week by debuting their artistic talents with posters. The Wauneta-Palisade High School art students judged the art work.
