The Bronco Buzz is a student ran newsletter that features the events that take place at Wauneta-Palisade Schools. WP journalism teacher Lisa McAlevy has carried this project on from last year the 2016-2017 school year.
    The newsletter consists of students of the month, elementary news, sports, fun-facts, this month in history, students’ birthdays, quotes and a creative corner. In the creative corner students can submit a short story, poem, art work, etc. that they have made.
    The Bronco Buzz’s standard issue has around 13 pages and is printed on regular 8.5x 11 inch paper at the school once a month. The journalism students then hand deliver copies to any interested local business.
    When asked what the students liked most about The Bronco Buzz, they all agreed that they liked showing community members some of the things that go on in the school that isn’t common knowledge like everyone’s birthdays or who is on student council.
    Many of the students also agreed that they enjoy delivering the newsletters to the various businesses.
