Six Wauneta-Palisade students attended the Governor’s Proclamation at the State Capitol in Lincoln April 2. Pictured are the student winners of the Nebraska 811 “Call Before you Dig” poster competition with Governor Pete Ricketts and other State Capitol representatives. WP winners include Grayden Sutherland, Nathan Blackman, Ashton Wheeler, Collin Bley, Kenzie Bardsley and Addalyn Einspahr. On April 26 at 1 p.m. MT/2 p.m. CT there will be an award ceremony held at the Wauneta Attendance Center. The school will receive a plaque, bench and a Sunset Maple tree that will be planted during the ceremony.
