Wauneta-Palisade FFA livestock management, ag mechanics teams qualify for state FFA
The Wauneta-Palisade Schools’ FFA team has competed at several area competitions. The most recent one being the Career Development Events (CDE) competition in Curtis. WP FFA competed in three different events including floriculture, livestock management and ag mechanics.
Overall, WP’s livestock management team received a white ribbon and tied for third. WP lost in a tie breaker, but still qualified for Nebraska State FFA which will be held in Lincoln April 4-6.
The livestock management team includes Michaela Dukes, Reagan Skow, Destiny Beacham, Jayden Ingold and Cord Lee.
The floriculture team placed eighth out of 18 teams. Sophomore Ben Anderjaska and senior Natalie Ramirez both individually received white ribbons.
