he Business & Community Education Department at MCC has several class offerings in August. Please check out the list below to see what is available.
    All class participants will be required to wear a mask as they enter and exit the building and whenever they are within six feet of another person. They will also be required to answer questions upon entering the building regarding their current health and any contact they may have had with someone who is confirmed COVID-19.

    Yoga Basics. Offered the first four Thursdays of every month. A great class if you are just starting your yoga practice or you have been attending a yoga class for years. Limited space available, register soon. Thursdays, Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Katie Farrell, $29, Student Union.
    Women’s Pilates and Aerobics. Low impact workout with cardio, strength, and flexibility work. Great for new exercisers and veterans alike! Reduce stress and improve overall fitness and flexibility. Bring a yoga/exercise mat and a water. Limited space available, register soon. Thursdays, Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Katie Farrell, $29, Student Union.
    Heartsaver CPR, First Aid, AED. Learn the hands-on approach to emergency, focusing on the skills needed for a first responder. Class includes CPR/AED, first aid for choking (including pediatric emergency first response), and how to manage illness and injuries before help arrives. American Heart Association Certificate is provided upon successful completion of this course. Sept. 8 and 9, from 6-9 p.m., Bob Molcyk, $65, Tipton Hall, room 115.
