Seniors from Wauneta-Palisade High School and Hitchcock County HIgh School attended County Government Day at the Hitchcock County Courthouse on Monday.

Students explore issues in county government

The American Legion Posts #133 from Culbertson and Post #337 from Trenton hosted the County Government Day at the Hitchcock County Courthouse on March 13, 2017.
    Seniors from Hitchcock County High School and Wauneta-Palisade High School attended the one-day event.
    The American Legion Auxiliaries from Hitchcock County furnished lunch for all attendees and courthouse employees.
    Richard Baxter, County commander, presided over the event.
    County employees provided the leadership training from each office. County Veteran’s Administration officer, Bob Scott, told about the veteran’s benefits and resources for health facilities provided throughout the state.
