Livestock judging team places 18th at state

After waiting a week for results to come in from the Nebraska FFA State Convention, the Wauneta-Palisade livestock judging team now knows it finished 18th.
Leading the way for the group was Greg Gaston and Reagan Skow. Each finished with 648 points, good enough for purple ribbons and a tie for 18th and 19th places.
Ben Anderjaska and Caid Doetker rounded out the team, which earned a red ribbon. Tiffany Stoller coached the group.
Competition included 10 placing classes and a written exam. Rod Gaston said the group checked in at 6:30 a.m. and didn’t leave until 3:00 that afternoon.
