Incumbents answer school board survey

Among offices on this year’s November election ballot will be three seats on the Wauneta School Board.
    Five candidates have filed for those openings. Incumbents Jon Anderjeska and John Rutten have filed for re-election and have been joined by Hondo Fanning, Aaron McKinney and Samantha Sutherland. The open seat on the board is due to the resignation of Jason Hicks a year ago due to personal commitments; the board opted to leave his seat unfilled so no incumbent would have an advantage in the race for that opening.
    The Breeze sent a survey to all candidates in the November election to ask about school issues. Last week, we ran responses from three of the candidates. This week, we’ll run answers from the incumbents.
    Questions asked on the survey were:
    1. Why are you running? Do you have specific things you’d like to get accomplished?
