The Wauneta-Palisade Schools’ fight song rang loudly and proudly throughout the streets of Wauneta last Thursday, Sept. 28, during the annual downtown Homecoming pep rally. Both the volleyball and football teams’ seniors and coaches spoke with various games, planned by the WP cheerleaders, following. After the chanting of “Go Big Red” and “Let’s Go Broncos” quieted all students and faculty headed back to the school in conga line style. The night before, Wednesday, Sept. 28, was also filled with school spirit and fun during the tailgate party in the Wauneta Attendance Center gym. Attendees shared a meal and the volleyball and football teamS performed short skits. The Bronco Boosters also did a short rendition of Toy Story.
