Duncan Rector’s poetry to be featured in book

Although passionate about all things sports, Duncan Rector has recently found another avenue of interest—poetry.
One of the most recent, and most notable, results of this newfound interest was his acceptance to be published in an America Library of Poetry book “Treasured”.
The America Library of Poetry sponsors writing competitions for poetry and short stories across the United States.
During Rector’s English class his sophomore year at Wauneta-Palisade Schools, he was assigned to write a letter to someone. Rector said that the majority of his classmates wrote something to a parent or a famous athlete.
Because his class had recently been going over the history of the Holocaust, Rector decided to write his letter to Germany’s dictator, Adolf Hitler.
