Reva Anne Lewis

    Reva Anne Lewis was born July 26, 1932 at home on the farm north of Wauneta, Neb.,  to Leretta and Elmer Lewis.  She passed away at the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center at midnight on Nov. 20, 2017 at the age of 85.
    Reva married Victor Wicke on Sept. 13, 1955. She attended country grade schools and graduated from Wauneta High School in 1950 and attended college in McCook.  She worked side-by-side with Victor helping with farm work and feeding cattle. She drove the tractor cultivating crops and packing silage as well as helping with the cattle and moving irrigation pipe.
    Reva was bookkeeper at the Farmers Co-Op for 18 years and at the Enders Bank for three years.
    She and Vic were part owners of Wauneta Grain at one time.
    Surviving Reva are sisters Nadene Brass of Kansas and Lois Kanost of Wauneta; brothers Lloyd (Doris) Lewis of Lincoln, Neb.; John (Frances) Lewis of Wauneta; and Jim (Charlene) Lewis of Avoca, Iowa; sister-in-law Joanne Lewis of Cambridge, Neb.; and brother-in-law Dick Remington of Minden, Neb.  
    She is also survived by nieces and nephews she loved and many other relatives and friends.
    Preceding her in death were her parents Leretta and Elmer Lewis; her husband Victor; sisters Lorene Greeley and Vera Remington; brothers Glen Lewis and Kenneth Lewis; brothers-in-law Paul Greeley; Worth Kanost; Kenneth Wicke; Vern Wicke; sister-in-law Lillian Tepley.
    She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
