LeRoy Frank Jirik

    LeRoy Frank Jirik passed away Thursday Feb. 22, 2018 in Litteton, Colo.
    He was born on the farm outside Palisade, Neb. on Sept. 11, 1935. His parents were James Jirik and Orpha (Goucher) Jirik.
    He married Verna Marrs on June 24 1954 in Trenton Neb.
    He served in the Navy during the Korean War and supported his family working in various job over his lifetime, retiring from public accounting in 2000.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Verna, his brothers Jim and George and his son LeRoy, Jr. He is survived by three children Naomi Hauf of Cross Roads, Texas, Lucinda Jirik of Littleton Colo., and James Jirik of Granbury Texas and three granddaughters Carrie Hauf, Kelesy Jirik and Kayla Jirik and grandson Chris Waits and one great granddaughter.
    A memorial service was held March 5, 2018 at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
