Activities will be going on all around Wauneta Saturday, but people taking part in events at the park and baseball diamond will be tempted throughout the day with the smells drifting over from the Wauneta Volunteer Fire Department’s Smoke-Off.
    Now in its third year, organizers are hoping the event keeps growing.
    Twelve teams were entered in last year’s competition. As of July 20, 10 teams were entered in this year’s contest.
    Entries are still being accepted through today (Thursday). WVFD’s Tanner Bardsley is hoping for 15 teams.
    After a few changes last year, the format and schedule will remain the same as 2017.
