On March 24, left to right, Jessica Ehm, Jayden Ingold and Kenna Blackman attended Class D Allstate Band in Kearney. Each Wauneta-Palisade student was a returning participant in the honor. Blackman has gone all four years of her high school career, Ingold three and Ehm two. All three participated in the symphonic band that was directed by Dr. Michelle Bluford who teaches at Elkhorn.
