Lady Broncos split season-opening games, Cattle Trail up next

Though the Wauneta-Palisade girls’ basketball team lost its first game of the season Thursday night, the Broncos bounced back Friday with a win.
WP opened the season at Wallace. The teams traded baskets early on until three three-pointer over the final three minutes of the first quarter gave Wallace a 10-point lead.
Wallace tried to pull away in the second quarter, but WP responded by outscoring the Wildcats 10-4.
